The Building Environmental System Lab(BESL) conducts research on major issues in the fields of evaluating and diagnosing thermal, lighting, air quality, and energy, developing smart sensors and control systems, designing passive and active systems, and planning passive zero energy buildings. In particular, BESL conducts practical researches based on domestic and foreign engineering projects in the entire design, analysis, construction, and diagnosis of high-rise buildings and is recognized as a leading researcher in Korea in the fields of theory, measurement, equipment development and guidance.
